Preview
Leeds Rhinos will be looking to continue their impressive start to the 2015 season when they travel to face Hull FC on Thursday night.
The Rhinos have begun the season in imperious form. backing up their entertaining 40-30 win over Hull KR on the opening weekend with a convincing 38-6 win over Widnes Vikings before overcoming Huddersfieedl Giants for the first time in eight attempts courtesy of a 28-24 win in Round Three.
Meanwhile, Hull have endured a tough start to the campaign after failing to back up their impressive 19-0 away success over Huddersfield in Round One.
The Arlie Birds fell to an agonizing 6-7 home defeat against Warrington a week later and a Rangi Chase-inspired Salford won 32-28 on Saturday. But the hosts will e in determined mood as they look to stop the rot.
FC have named Steve Michaels in their squad just days after a warrant for his arrest was issued in Australia after the 28-year-old was linked to an alleged drugs scandal in the NRL.
The centre joined from Gold Coast Titans in the winter and has played one Super League game so far this term.
Captain Gareth Ellis returns to face his former club after injury.
The Rhinos are unchanged, but Rob Burrow is pushing for a spot in the 17 after missing the last two games, while winger Tom Briscoe looks set to face his old for the second time.
Prediction:
Hull will be hurting after consecutive losses in the last two rounds and will be keen to bounce back to produce a first home win of the season. However, Leeds are in fine form and will provide a stern test. I think Leeds’ superior quality on the flanks will see them over the line, just.
Leeds by 8.
