In so many facets of his game, James Tedesco was best in the league. He led the average run metres with 187 per game, most line breaks with thirty and tackle busts with 136. This year he scored 18 tries, the highest tally in his career breaking the 17 he scored at the Wests Tigers in 2015.

Teddy scored the match-winner for New South Wales in the Origin series with his try in the final seconds down the right hand flank at ANZ Stadium to cap off a wonderful series for the defending champions.

At 26 years of age he is only going to get better in the next twelve months.
