1. Cooper Cronk
Cooper Cronk will go down as one of the most influential players in the modern era. The methodical, calculated approach to the game saw Cronk become the dominant halfback in our game for Melbourne Storm, Queensland, Australia and more recently, Sydney Roosters where he guided Luke Keary famously to a Clive Churchill Medal winning performance in the 2018 Grand Final. Cronk was crowned Dally M Player of the Year in 2013 and 2016, Dally M halfback of the year five times and won the Golden Boot Award in 2016. He was best on field in Melbourne’s 14-4 win over Canterbury in the 2012 Grand Final. Cronk will play his 372nd and final NRL game on Sunday having scored 101 tries and 435 career points with a win percentage above 70%. He played 22 times for Queensland and 38 for Australia. His partnership with Billy Slater and Cameron Smith to make up the Melbourne Storm spine for many years will go down in folklore. Cronk will go down as a great of our game.
