Ryan Hall snatches the League Leaders’ Shield (2015)
Heading away to Huddersfield Giants for the final game of the 2015 Super 8’s, Leeds knew a victory would secure them the League Leaders’ Shield, but with just eight minutes left to play it appeared that the Giants were going to spoil the party.
The hosts led by eight points with six minutes left to play only for a converted Tom Briscoe try to move the Rhinos to within one score of their opponents.
Kevin Sinfield levelled the game up with a penalty in the final minute before Ryan Hall collected Danny McGuire’s kick through and sprinted away to the line to touch down in the corner, snatching the shield away from Wigan and giving Leeds the advantage heading into the semi-finals.
