Season to Date

The Bulldogs have had a tumultuous first half of the season, which have seen many players watching from the sideline with injuries and suspensions. One of the more prominent being the suspension of Captain James Graham and young gun David Klemmer in the round 5 Good Friday clash against the Rabbitohs. Standout players thus far have been halves/utility player Moses Mbye, NRL leading try scorer Curtis Rona, origin debutant David Klemmer and the always reliable Josh Jackson.

Considering the Dogs were in last years grand final and were one of the favourites to take out this years premiership, they have failed to meet expectations of fans and critics. However, coming into the second half of the season and based on their last two performances, if they can keep a consistent team on the field each week, they should still prove to be a threat come finals time.

Finals Bound?

Now that the Bulldogs have placed themselves in the top 8, expectations are that they will remain there and further improve on their ranking. They need to work on playing consistent football with confidence. The team will benefit from feeding off the enthusiasm of players including Moses Mbye and Josh Reynolds.
