Sydney Roosters

After being belted by Melbourne Storm the week before, the Sydney Roosters were back in the winners circle last week defeating the Wests Tigers 38-16. The return of Morris twins was one of the highlights of the win, scoring two tries a piece.

Brisbane Broncos

The Brisbane Broncos did well last week to keep up with the Dragons last week, however the Dragons were too good winning 28-24. After finding themselves down 12 nil early in the game, the Broncos didn’t fold like they had in the past. Kotoni Staggs showed that he is going to be a star, scoring a brilliant 80 metre try for the Broncos.

KEY STAT

The Roosters have not won back to back matches against the Broncos since 2017.

BATTLE TO WATCH

The Battle between Josh Morris and Kotoni Staggs should be a cracker. They old bull against the young buck, Morris seems to be having a great year in 2020 at the ripe age of 34. Staggs is a gun centre and has a bright future ahead of him, he just needs his inside men to get some ball early and he can do the rest which he showed against Euan Aitken last week.
