Preview
Huddersfield have lost four games on the spin, since beating St Helens back in March, and will want to put their Headingley demons to rest. Meanwhile, Saints look back to their best following the resumption of the season.
Simon Woolford is just about able to name a full 21-man squad with the Giants in the midst of an injury crisis. Ashton Golding, Darnell McIntosh, Michael Lawrence, Ukuma Ta’ai, Lee Gaskell, Aidan Sezer, Adam Walne, Kenny Edwards, Aaron Murphy and Jake Wardle are all unavailable.
Kristian Woolf will be without veteran hooker James Roby and Zeb Taia through injury, with Joe Batchelor and youngster Josh Eaves coming into the squad.
Prediction
Having started the season so brightly, lockdown couldn’t have come at a worse time for the injury plagued Giants, who appear set to struggle again against Saints. The form book points to a comfortable St Helens victory, who will be out to avenge their defeat to Huddersfield earlier in the season and claim a fifth straight league win.
