Preview
Super League returns to the Totally Wicked Stadium when Hull FC takes on Wakefield Trinity. The two teams played out a thriller earlier in the season, with Hull claiming a golden-point extra-time victory.
Hull have made seven changes to their squad with Jamie Shaul, Carlos Tuimavave, Manu Ma’u, Jordan Johnstone, Bureta Faraimo and Josh Griffin all injured and Ligi Sao suspended. Ratu Naulago, Andre Savelio and Masi Matongo return.
Trinity are able to name Ben Jones-Bishop in their squad for the first time this season, with Alex Walker, Bill Tupou, Jay Pitts and Liam Kay also included. However, they will be without Jacob Miller, Tinirau Arona, Matty Ashurst, Danny Kirmond and James Batchelor.
Prediction
Both teams appear to have mounting injury problems ahead of this clash which makes it a difficult tie to predict. Hull still hold slim hopes of making a push for the play-offs but struggled against a depleted Warrington side last time out. Wakefield are hoping to find some form that will give them momentum heading into next season and could surprise the Airlie Birds on Thursday night.
