Preview

The Airlie Birds will be out for revenge at the Halliwell Jones Stadium having lost 54-18 to Salford in their first game back after the restart as they look to keep their faint hopes of reaching the play-offs alive.

Andy Last has Jamie Shaul and Josh Bowden back at his disposal, having missed the Challenge Cup game against Wigan, with Gareth Ellis and Ben McNamara the two players to drop out.

Ian Watson recalls Andy Ackers and Oliver Roberts to his 21-man squad with James Greenwood and Connor Jones both missing out.

Prediction

The Red Devils will be on a high after their golden point extra-time Challenge Cup quarter-final win against Catalans’ and could now switch their attention to their semi-final date with Warrington with their chances of a play-off push unlikely. Therefore, Hull should be favourites for this one as they look to claim back-to-back league wins for the first time since the opening two rounds of the season.
