Preview
Both teams go into Thursday’s clash at Headingley in good form with the Giants on a three-game winning streak, and the Red Devils having booked their place in the Challenge Cup final last time out.
Luke Robinson recalls Lee Gaskell, Darnell McIntosh and Louis Senior to his 21-man squad, while Brandon Moore could be in line to make his debut. Jordan Turner, Matty English and Oliver Wilson miss out.
Ian Watson makes three changes from the squad that booked their place in the Challenge Cup final with Kevin Brown, Sebastine Ikahihifo and Oliver Roberts dropping out. Luke Yates, Andy Ackers and Oliver Ashall-Bott come into the side.
Prediction
This has the potential to be a cracking game with both clubs appearing to have turned a corner in recent weeks. Huddersfield have impressed under acting head coach Robinson, while Salford have won four on the bounce in all competitions but will surely have an eye on the Cup final next weekend, making the Giants favourites to win this one.
