Preview
Thursday’s action concludes with League leaders St Helens taking on bottom side Wakefield for the second time within a week. The two sides played out a close game last Friday as Saints look to extend their lead at the top of the table at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
St Helens have made one change to their squad with young second row Jake Wingfield called up to the senior side for the first time. He replaces James Graham who is currently self-isolating.
Wakefield have made several changes from the side that played Saints last time out with Jacob Miller, Kyle Wood, Tinirau Arona, Jay Pitts, Jordy Crowther and Brad Walker all missing. Joe Westerman, Chris Green, Josh Wood, Connor Bailey and Romain Navarrete return.
Prediction
Trinity pushed Saints all the way last week and will need to be at their very best once again to have any chance of upsetting the odds. Kristian Woolf’s side have won eight league games on the spin since the restart and should make it a ninth successive win on Thursday night whilst Wakefield are hoping to avoid a fifth consecutive defeat in the League.
