Preview
Thursday’s action concludes with Huddersfield taking on basement side Wakefield at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Both sides have little to play for and will be hoping to improve on their respective performances last week.
The Giants are without key men Jermaine McGillvary and Darnell McIntosh with Oliver Russell and Robson Stevens also dropping out. Ukuma Ta’ai returns from his long-term injury with Oliver Wilson, Sam Wood and Ronan Michael also included.
The Dreadnoughts make several changes to the side beaten by Saints with Jacob Miller, Kyle Wood, Tinirau Arona, Jordy Crowther, Yusuf Aydin and Harry Bowes all included. Joe Westerman, Craig Kopczak, Josh Wood, Connor Bailey and Innes Senior miss out.
Prediction
The Giants will fancy their chances in this one. Luke Robinson’s side have already beaten Wakefield this season and will be hungry to claim the two points after suffering narrow defeats in their last two matches. Trinity are winless in their last 10 matches and were well beaten by St Helens in their most recent outing.
