Match Preview
Although Warrington will come into the game in better form, this is still the Challenge Cup and anything can happen! It will be another interesting clash between the two departing coaches.
Many stories will be going on behind-the-scenes and you feel there’s a sense of atmosphere creeping in with Cas, as they’ve failed to win their last three games, including their 60-6 defeat to Leeds at The Jungle.
Whereas with Warrington they’ve come up with some comfortable wins against Salford and their upcoming opponents, if it wasn’t for their slip against Huddersfield they’d be knocking on the doors of the top three.
With the squads, Castleford will look to play their usual starting thirteen without their half-back Danny Richardson but Jake Trueman returns alongside Jordan Turner.
Whereas Warrington’s will look to be unchanged despite the tensions between Blake Austin and head coach Steve Price. But you feel the absence of Daryl Clark could make the difference if Paul McShane is looking to make his mark on the game.
