1st Half

Only five minutes into the game and after three straight penalties, the Sea Eagles were first on the board after converting a penalty goal.

The Sea Eagles clearly welcomed back Tom Trbojevic after a disappointing start to the season. The presence of Tommy Turbo was felt early after a quick try assist. Good early ball at the Titans line to Brad Parker resulted in the first try of the afternoon after 10 minutes.

After a great line break from Lachlan Crocker, the Sea Eagles were again on the board. All starting from Tom Trbojevic after receiving the ball from Crocker; Josh Schuster passed to Reuben Garrick to score in the corner.

The Titans had no answers early for Tom Trbojevic as he terrorising the Titans all the first half. He went over for his first try of the season and then straight away after another great run, he set up Jason Saab to score under the post.

2nd Half

It didn’t take long for the Titans to make some impact after a poor start to the game. It started from a great run from David Fifita, followed soon after when the Titans were gifted a penalty after Jake Trbojevic took out AJ Brimson off the ball.

After a forced dropout from Jamal Fogarty and a set restart, the Titans were building some momentum and pressure. Ultimately after a poor decision on the last from the Titans, Morgan Harper scooped up the ball, made a long run and passed to Saab to score his second try of the afternoon.

After a few errors from both sides and leading 30 points to nil, the Sea Eagles still could smell the blood in the water as Garrick went over to score his second try of the afternoon. The back line of the Sea Eagles had an absolute field day against the Titans, scoring all of the tries today in convincing fashion.
