Match Preview

The one statistic that stands out between these two is that Wigan haven’t conceded defeat to Rovers for over the last 10 years in Super League history.

But Hull KR are once again showing a bit of good form after getting back-to-back wins for the second time this year and will look to build on their big win over the Warriors last year.

Wigan will be missing Bevan French and Zak Hardaker who will be a big loss come kick-off as the Cherry and Whites go another week without any of their experienced full-backs.

However, Oliver Gildart and Liam Marshall return to the side but the question remains whether they can be fit enough for the captain’s run the day before.

On the other hand, Hull KR will hope to see Albert Vete return to boost their forward pack but the same applies as to whether he will be fit to play.

But the good news for the Robins is that Jordan Abdull, George Lawler and Dean Hadley won’t miss out after exiting the pitch with head-knocks.

Quickly going back to the game in hand, Wigan will still look to be strong favourites as they look to strengthen their dominant home form against the East Hull side.

However, Hull KR can never be written off and could potentially cause an upset if the Rugby League Gods go in their favour.

Prediction

Wigan by 16 points.
