Preview
Huddersfield Giants travel to Hull KR’s Craven Park for a vital Round 3 clash as both sides look to get their season back on track.
Hull KR welcome back Korbin Sims and Dean Hadley after the pair missed the Challenge Cup loss to Castleford last week, while Matty Storton will need to pass a fitness test to make the final slot of the 21-man squad.
Huddersfield look set to have Aiden Sezer back in the matchday squad after another inclusion in the 21-man squad, having managed to recover from a hamstring injury that has kept him out in recent weeks. Ronan Michael also makes the 21-man squad alongside club captain Michael Lawrence, who is set to make his 300th appearance.
Prediction
Hull KR produced an exceptional performance to push the high flying Castleford side all the way in the Challenge Cup match and, while they have an extra period of extra time minutes in their legs to recover from for this weeks clash, Huddersfield have a shortened Sunday-Friday turnaround from their cup win against Leigh.
Hull KR seem to have hit their straps now, but still look under gunned when compared to a Huddersfield squad which now welcomes back Aidan Sezer. While Huddersfield should still edge it on form without Sezer, his inclusion will make the big difference and they should be able to counter any home advantage at a crowd-less Craven Park to win well.
