The St George-Illawarra Dragons welcome the Wests Tigers to Wollongong this Thursday night, in a clash that could have serious ramifications for who claims the wooden spoon in 2023.
The Dragons welcome back club captain Ben Hunt from Origin duty as well as Jack Bird, who will make his return off the interchange.
Fullback Tyrell Sloan comes back into the side in place of the injured Paul Turner, against a Tigers side that could provide him with the space and time he needs to be at his damaging best.
Jayden Sullivan also sustained an injury, seeing Tongan international Talatau Amone retain his five-eighth jersey.
Ben Murdoch-Masila will sit this game out due to a knee injury, seeing Dan Russell promoted into the starting side.
Meanwhile, the Tigers will be desperate for a win here to get themselves level on the ladder with the Dragons after a tough week for the club in the media.
All-time Wests Tigers leading try-scorer David Nofoaluma returns on the wing, while young gun Tallyn Da Silva gets the nod over Jake Simpkin on the interchange.
In a week where his return to Penrith seems extremely likely, Daine Laurie will be looking to string a run of good form together to impress both his current fans and his future coaches.
LAST TEN MATCHES
