MATCHDAY PREVIEW

As far as outsiders go, the Bulldogs head into this clash with Penrith as the biggest outsiders of the year.

With a big injury toll, horrendous form, and seemingly endless ways to gift opponents tries, the visitors will do well to keep Penrith – who welcome back Origin and injured stars including Nathan Cleary – to 50 and under.

Despite the likely return of Viliame Kikau and Josh Addo-Carr, the Bulldogs are now missing key halfback Toby Sexton to concussion.

Even with him, itโ€™s hard to imagine anything other than a Penrith victory. They’re starting to build momentum heading into the final few weeks of the regular season.

Dylan Edwards has been the form fullback of the competition, and on the back of another big week last start (19 runs for 175m, eight tackles, two tackle breaks), heโ€™s sure to carry the same momentum into this weekend’s game.

Expect both sides of Penrithโ€™s edge to collect tries, particularly Sunia Turuva, who is up against one of the competition’s weakest edge defences.
