MATCHDAY PREVIEW

Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has retained the same 17 that went down to the Warriors in golden point last weekend after Corey Horsburgh avoided suspension for his contrary conduct charge.

There’s one change for the Knights, with Daniel Saifiti out with a thigh strain, replaced in the starting side by his brother Jacob. Brodie Jones comes into the team on the bench.

With their abysmal points differential (-56), the Raiders need to keep winning to have any hope of a top 4 finish. Despite the loss in Auckland, they’ve still won 10 of their past 13, all by 10 points or less. With the resurgent Knights’ recent form, they can expect another close game on Saturday.

After losing seven of nine in the middle of the season, the Knights have breathed life back into their finals aspirations off the back of three straight wins, which have seen them outscore opponents 126-36. With their shock defeat of the Storm, the Knights will be full of confidence that they can roll the Raiders and continue their charge towards the top 8.

Results have historically been evenly shared between these two clubs, with neither really dominating the other. The Knights got the chocolates with a come-from-behind win when they met in round 4; however, the Raiders have won five of their past six meetings at GIO Stadium.

LAST TEN MATCHES

Knights 6, Raiders 4

MATCHDAY PREDICTION

Raiders by 2 points.
