MATCHDAY PREVIEW

The Raiders will want to come back strong after the loss to the Knights at home last weekend. The Knights tore both of the Raiders’ edges apart with some slick passing and good running; the Raiders didn’t have the answers.

Rickey Stuart will want his side to put last week behind them. The Raiders are still in the top eight; the last thing they need is a late-season slide down the ladder. There are some changes from last week’s game with Jarrod Croker out, Seb Kris moving from fullback to the centres, and Jordan Rapana at fullback. Nick Cotic also comes onto the wing.

The Tigers had some good moments against Souths. Some of the attacking plays, especially one from inside their half, would have had Tigers fans on their feet. They may not have scored from it, but it showed hope for the future.

Another reason the Tigers would go into this game with confidence is that the last time these two sides met, the Raiders only won by a point. Stefano Utoikamanu and Shawn Blore will miss the game due to concussion protocols, with Alex Twal starting in the front row. Justin Matamua is the new man on the bench.

LAST TEN MATCHES

Raiders 9, Tigers 1.

MATCHDAY PREDICTION

Raiders by 10.
