MATCHDAY PREVIEW

An epic Golden Point win sealed the victory for the improved Bulldogs last week, but there are still glaring issues with their attack as they prepare to face the Rabbitohs in the traditional Good Friday clash.ย

What isnโ€™t lacking is their grit and determination. They have been enormous in defence amid a huge injury crisis, but against a strong Rabbitohs side I canโ€™t see them being able to win.

The Bunnies have been on the improve despite some results going against them. They arenโ€™t struggling with many personnel issues and key combinations are starting to click.

Thomas Burgess has been enormous for the Bunnies, running for over 200 metres last week. The likes of Latrell Mitchell will thrive off the back of that kind of work.

Forwards are severely depleted at the Bulldogs, missing a host of players to injury: Viliame Kikau, Luke Thompson, Tevita Pangai Jnr, Chris Patolo, Franklin Pele, Jacob Preston, and Max King, although the latter two are some chance to face the Bunnies.

It will be a tough task for the Bulldogs to dine on rabbit on Good Friday – a task probably too big to overcome.ย

LAST TEN MATCHES

Rabbitohs 8, Bulldogs 2

MATCHDAY PREDICTION

Rabbitohs by 12 points.
