Here’s a look at the NRL jersey’s club-by-club ahead of the 2024 competition.

Brisbane Broncos
No change to the Broncos’ home jersey, with the weird melding of maroon, while and gold. Though it looks better on-field.
There’s been a big change to the away jersey: it’s almost all white, with maroon and gold stripes on the torso (the same pattern as their home jersey), maroon sleeves, and a retro collar. They’ll likely wear this jersey for their Round 1 Las Vegas game. While the collar is nice, it makes it look a little like a training polo – though that’s not a bad thing as it’s still a brilliant design.

Canberra Raiders
While their home and away jerseys haven’t changed, the new logo has been controversial, with the majority of fans hating “the sad viking”. Though, to be fair, it doesn’t look as horrible on the jerseys. And the monochrome version on the new training gear is also passable. Though how many fans will be tempted to upgrade to the new logo? Or will they be happier with the identical 2023 versions?

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
No change to the Bulldogs’ home and away jerseys for 2024. While the chevrons sizes have some Western Suburbs Magpies energy, the jerseys still look brilliant.

Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks
Cronulla have stuck to their classic look, with Aramax remaining as their major sponsor. No doubt Sharks fans will be happy. The black away jersey (also used in 2023) is a nice reversal of their home strip, with light blue trim around the collar, sleeves, and torso.

The Dolphins
The Dolphins have retained the excellent black strip as an alternative jersey. It was worn briefly in 2023 and was a huge hit. Black definitely suits the Dolphins. The ‘Vanilla Coke’ home jersey remains.

Gold Coast Titans
The only change to the Titans’ home and away jerseys is the sponsor. Lottery Office.com.au replaces MyPayNow, and the colourful logo stands out against the Titans’ blue, gold, and white.

Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles
Like Canberra, Manly have changed their logo, though it didn’t have the overwhelming backlash as the Raiders one. This is the only change to the home jersey, which makes sense as it’s an excellent retro design and arguably Manly’s best jersey ever.
Manly’s away jersey is a throwback to their late ’90 strip, with a white base instead of maroon. And the PointsBest logo get a bit of colour.

Melbourne Storm
Melbourne have changed both their jerseys.
The dark blue V has been replaced by a straighter purple one, with the dark blue becoming more prominent on the torso. The small gold ‘lighting bolt’ that separates the two colours remains.
The away jersey keeps the home jersey’s pattern, with white on the torso. It’s a vast improvement on the 2023 version, which looked like a Perth Glory soccer jersey.

Newcastle Knights
Newcastle have returned to their 2001 premiership design, with red and blue chevrons pointing down to the shorts. While not quite as iconic as their classic “Henny Penny” kits, it’ll still give Knights fans warm and fuzzy memories. The away kit swaps out the big red chevrons for white ones.

New Zealand Warriors
The Warriors’ jerseys are a mixed bag. The home strip has returned to the mid-90s Auckland design, while the away one looks more like a training top. No doubt the home strip will sell out, but the away strip may not be as popular. At least it’s not as bad as the hideous ‘bush shirt’ jersey from a couple of years ago.

North Queensland Cowboys
No change for the Cowboys, with the 2023 home and away jerseys retained. Cowboys fans can probably expect a revamp in 2025 or 2026.

Parramatta Eels
A slight change to the Eels’ home jersey: the chest and torso gold stripes have been replaced by four gold strips on the torso. And the blue is darker. The away jersey is the same as 2023.

Penrith Panthers
Penrith have retained their iconic ‘licorice allsorts’ home jersey, as well as the popular ‘Pink Panther’ away jersey. The big change is their sponsors, with MyPlace (a smart home system company) replacing Oak. The white (home) and black (away) sponsor colours works a lot better than the massive red OAK emblem.

South Sydney Rabbitohs
Souths have finally dumped the black/white shoulder and side panels, with a return to the classic cardinal and myrtle jersey (for the first time since 2006). The club’s gone back to the traditional look on occasions (like the John Sattler tribute game against Manly last season), but this looks like a permanent change. It should be a popular off-season buy for Rabbitohs fans, maybe even as a Christmas present?

Sydney Roosters
As expected, there’s no change to the iconic Eastern Suburbs “Tricolours” jersey, and the away jersey is also the same. While the home jersey is untouchable (though the size of the chevrons have changed over the years), the away jerseys have varied. This current design is simple but pleasing.

Wests Tigers
A slight changes to the Tigers’ home and away jerseys, with the large white chevron shrinking a bit. The home jersey has real Western Suburbs Magpies energy, while the away one looks like a classic Balmain strip.
The logo has been changed for the Tigers’ 25th anniversary, with a black shield added. It’s a bit uninspiring, as the club could have used their Wests/Balmain heritage to do something different.
