Jack Welsby
Another 18-year-old born this century is St Helens stand off Jack Welsby. He scored three tries in four games in a fine spell of form between March and April of this year as Saints stormed to the League Leaders’ Shield.
Despite not playing any part in Saints’ play-off fixtures, he also provided nine try assists, in just 11 Super League appearances and with more regular game time could be a breakthrough star in 2020.
