Second place Warrington Wolves welcome eighth place Huddersfield Giants for the first game after the Easter Weekend. Here’s everything you need to know.

The Giants currently sit eighth in the table, with five wins and seven losses.

Steve Price has gone back to his normal 19 man squad, with Danny Walker, Jason Clark and Ryan Atkins all dropping from the 21 man squad, and Ben Currie has come back in.
Daryl Clark is looking to continue his fine form, following on from his new long term deal, announced mid week, keeping him at the Wolves till 2023.

Simon Woolford has made one change, with Louis Senior stepping up from Huddersfield’s academy side to join his brother Innes in their 19-man squad.
He replaces Jordan Turner after he was carried off with a head injury in the second half of Monday’s win over London Broncos.

In the last meeting between the two sides was in February, when Warrington won 20-32, which was Warrington’s first win at the John Smiths since 2014.
A Ryan Atkins and Josh Charnley double helping the Wire to victory inย this one. In the last five meetings, including the one in February, Warrington have won three and Huddersfield winning two.
However the Wire are on a three game winning streak against the Giants. Huddersfield haven’t won at Warrington since 2015, when they ran out 10-29 victors, which means the Wolves are on a four game winning streak at home.

The key battle in this one is of the wingers. With both players in the England squad, this could be a heavyweight clash. In the Wolves corner, is joint top try scorer Josh Charnley. With 12 tries in as many rounds this season,ย he is in the form of his life. He knows where the line is and can find it from anywhere. He will be hoping to add more tries this weekend.

In the Giants corner is Jermaine McGillvary. The 30-year-old has scored eight tries so far, including a double last time out against London. In his 12 seasons at the Giants, he has scored 158 tries in 230 games. He also knows where the line is and will need to be firing to give his side the best chance.

WHO WILL WIN?
I think the Wire will have enough to win. With Daryl Clark and current Man of Steel ranking leader, Blake Austin firing, the Wolves are unplayable. Although Huddersfield do have Jermaine McGillvary, Darnell McIntosh and Joe Wardle, I just think the Wire will find a way to win, and comfortably. Wolves to win 24-18.
