Round 13 vs Gold Coast Titans (May 30)
Melbourne’s only slip-up at CBUS Stadium in the last decade came early in the 2023 season on a hot day at Robina where they were beaten 38-34. It was a game that set Alofiana Khan-Pereira on his way to being a star in our game. Melbourne’s dominance in the past decade and the Titans poor record in general has contributed to this trend.

Round 23 vs Newcastle Knights (August 8)
Penrith’s impecible record since Covid with four consecutive premierships is factored in with Newcastle’s three consecutive wooden spoons (2015-2017), providing a lopsided win percentage for the visiting team. It could be argued that in 2023 the Knights were unlucky to go down in golden point having kept their noses in front most of the game.

Round 20 vs Wests Tigers (July 20)
The Wests Tigers (33.8%) and Gold Coast Titans (34.4%) have the worst winning records out of all NRL clubs since 2014. Given this, it’s surprising to see how dominant the Titans are at Leichhardt Oval. Last year was in some way an upset given the Tigers lost nine straight beforehand. The Titans went down 18-10 a week later produced a stunning 66-6 victory over the New Zealand Warriors.
