Challenge Cup Finalists Catalans Dragons have announced the re-signing of their centre Brayden Williame for a further two seasons.
Williame has been with the club since 2017 and appeared for the Dragons on 42 occasions.
Prior to joining Catalans, Williame spent time in the National Rugby League at Parramatta Eels, Manly Sea Eagles and Newcastle Knights.
This is a boost for the club on the eve of their Challenge Cup Final, their first time at Wembley since 2007.
“I am happy to be staying with the Dragons for another two years. I thank the club for giving me the opportunity to come across from Australia two years ago. Our best football is ahead of us and I am happy to have sorted my future at Catalans leading into the challenge cup final! Allez les Dracs !”, said Williame.
“Brayden has been one our most consistent performers over the season. He has made huge efforts to improve all aspects of his game. In particular he has added some real quality to his attack whilst physically getting himself in great shape. He is very popular within the playing group and at the age of 25, we feel his best years are still ahead of him.”, said Catalans head coach Steve McNamara.
