Manly Sea Eagles have signed Kane Elgey until 2020.

Elgey, with 43 games under his belt for the Gold Coast Titans showed what potential he has with a wonderful performance against the Penrith Panthers at CBUS Super Stadium on Saturday afternoon.ย  Something that will please his new club.

It’s been a frustrating year for the twenty-four year old at the Titans franchise, after being demoted to Intrust Super Cup side Tweed Heads Seagulls.ย  Last weekend he was a late replacement for Michael Gordon, with Alexander Brimson moving into the custodian fullback role.

John Cartwright full well knows the potential of what Elgey can bring to the club after seeing his development when coaching the Titans.

โ€œIโ€™ve known Kane since he was seventeen and playing on the Gold Coast have watched him progress through the grades, heโ€™s a great kid and very dedicated,โ€ Cartwright told the Sea Eagles website.

Can Elgey combine with DCE to provide a formidable halves pairing at the Eagles?
