Hull FC blow London Broncos away in the first half as they get back to winning ways.

Hull FC controlled the opening half, running riot with 34 unanswered points. However, the second half was below par as it was plagued with handling errors, as well as London having more field position.
Both sides had lost their previous two and were looking to end that run. Hull struck first after a high bomb by Jake Connor caused chaos in the defence as Rhys Williams and Kieron Dixon collided. The loose ball was picked up by Carlos Tuimavave, who strolled in for the opening score.
Bureta Faraimo was the next to get on the scoreboard after barging over the line. The Black and Whites led 12-0 with only eight minutes on the clock.
Hull continued the onslaught with London seeing very little possession. Joe Westerman and Connor both got over the try line, as it looked a long evening for the Broncos with them trailing 24-0 inside the opening quarter.
Hull’s fifth of the evening came from just inside their own half. A spreading move found Faraimo, who burst down the wing before knocking Dixon aside, he offloaded to Josh Griffin who finished off the move to give the East Yorkshire side a 28-0 lead.
The final try of the half came from a Jordan Abdull kick. London batted the ball across, however Ratu Naulago read it well and intercepted before sprinting over 90 metres without anybody getting near.
London started playing on the front foot in the second half and it took only five minute for them to get on the board. Abdull’s kick was knocked down by Williams and Fleming slid over in the corner.
Abdul scored himself against his former club and a Semi Adebiyi narrowed the gap to 18.
A Marc Sneyd drop goal killed off any hope inside the final ten minutes that the Broncos may have had. Adebiyi crossed for a second as a consolation.

500 For Sneyd
Marc Sneyd’s fifth goal of the night was his 500th goal for the Black and Whites. If he wants to be the all time top Hull FC goal kicker he needs, which would beat Joe Oliver. Sneyd has been at Hull since 2015.
Two Weeks in a Row
It is the second time in two weeks the Broncos have been blown away in the first half, before winning the second half. Last weekend London lost 36-0 in the first half to Warrington, however they won the second half 6-0. If they perform better in the first half it could go along way to survival.
Hull Miss Kelly
Despite winning it was far from a great performance by the Black and Whites, however it could be down to Albert Kelly missing the fixture. Kelly played against St Helens, but was sat out due to a hamstring injury. With the Challenge Cup semi final in two weeks it makes sense to keep him fit for that important fixture.
Tough Trip
Hull have a trip to Headingley next Sunday to face the Rhinos. Hull’s record is abysmal away at Leeds and despite Hull being ahead of Leeds this season will the poor record continue? We will find out next week.
