Tyrone May has been stood down from the Penrith Panthers side to take on Parramatta Eels this evening after it was revealed he was the player involved in a sex video.

The matter has been referred to the National Rugby League Integrity Unit for review.

“Panthers wishes to unreservedly apologise to the clubโ€™s members, fans and sponsors for the hurt and embarrassment caused by the videos and subsequent media coverage.”, said the Panthers statement released on Saturday afternoon.

“Panthers is working closely with the NRL Integrity Unit to expedite the investigation and achieve a final outcome as soon as possible.”

This week the National Rugby League stood down Jack deBelin, Dylan Walker and Zane Musgrove for off-field police charges.ย  Scott Bolton and Dylan Napa received fines, with Bolton suspended for five NRL matches. Former Sharks coach Shane Flanagan was banned indefinitely, with the club joining Wests Tigers in receiving a salary cap reduction for two seasons.
