While the Broncos are on back to back wins, its sudden death footy for the Warriors. This game is extra special, with Warriors sisters Hilda Mariu and Kahurangi Peters opposing their other sister Rona Peters.

The Broncos can afford a loss and still have a chance for the finals, but a win will see them guaranteed Grand Final favourites. If they can keep up their tight defence and sharp attack for a third week straight, they’ll be a tough team to beat. The loss of Meg Ward due to injury will hurt, but they’ll be helped but the great form of halfback Ali Brigginshaw.

The Warriors attack will be their key to winning this one. They’ve only scored 20 points in their last two matches, and will need to score some more to get up on the undefeated Broncos. Bouncing back from their loss and tightening their attack early in the match could see them cause an upset.

With both teams not living up to early expectations, this is expected to be a big match. It’s sudden death for both teams, so hopefully we’ll see their best performances.

The Roosters will be determined to get their first win, and either steal a grand final spot or finish on a high. They’ve undergone a huge shakeup to the team list, seeing star halfback Maddie Studdon dropped to the bench. While they’ll still need to greatly improve their completion rate, this reshuffle could make them dangerous and unpredictable.

Already on a high off their first win, the Dragons will have an extra boost with the return of Sam Bremner to fullback. The Dragons proved last week that they can be grand final contenders if they can get on a roll, so holding the ball may see them play again next week.
