The Bryden Lawyers NSW Blues have revealed they plan to wear a heritage style PUMA sky blue jersey for the 2022 State of Origin.

Returning to their all sky blue look, the redesigned jersey will debut on home ground at Accor Stadium where the Blues will play for the first time since November 2020.

NSW Rugby League Chief Commercial Officer Jodie Cross said the organisation is amazed by the support from commercial partners for this collaboration with one of the most iconic sporting brands in the country.ย

โ€œItโ€™s so exciting not only to be going to back to our heritage with a modern take on the traditional all sky blue jersey, but to be back in Sydney to our fans, many of whom have not had the chance to watch their team for nearly two years because of COVID related issues,โ€ she said.

โ€œWhat a great homecoming for our loyal Blatchys supporters to get to open the series at our home ground at Accor Stadium. It is so good to be back.โ€

PUMA is one of the global leaders in athletic apparel and has been since 1984, and has partnered with with the likes of the Bryden’s Lawyers NSW Blues, Manchester City, Neymar Jr., and Lamelo Ball.

General Manager of PUMA Oceania Pancho Gutstein is excited to see how the crowd will react when infront of their home team after all this time.

“We are delighted with the 2022 NSW Blues jersey and that it is back to the heritage all sky blue design. This is fitting as the team will be back in NSW playing in front of their home fans for Game One of the 2022 series,” he said.

The new kit incorporates dryCELL moisture-controlling technology, which draws sweat away from the skin and allows players to be more comfortable on the field.ย

WIth the Blues winning in the last State of Origin 2-1 in Queensland, they look to repeat this feat on their home turf for the first time in almost 600 days.
