Ryan Hall
Ryan Hall has been a brilliant winger for Leeds over the years and is one of the most coveted players in Super League history.
Hall has won 11 major titles with Leeds, and could further add to that tally in the coming years, having signed a five-year deal in 2014. Hall scored in the 2008 Grand Final, where Leeds beat St Helens 26-14. He then enjoyed a prolific 2009 season where he scored an excellent 31 tries in 30 games.
The powerful winger helped Leeds in their treble winning season in 2015, where he scored a last minute try to win Leeds the League Leaders shield against Huddersfield Giants. Since then, Hall has never lost his place as a Leeds winger and gone onto win one more Challenge Cup and in 2017, the prestigious Grand Final against Castleford Tigers.
In addition, his performances for the England national team have attracted an abundance of interest from NRL suitors, although it appears that Hall may never now get the chance to test himself down under.
Ade Gardner
Throughout his career with St Helens from 2002 right the way through until 2014, Ade Gardner cemented his name on the top ten try scorers list in Super League.
He played his part in their 2002 winning campaign but more so in the 2006 season when they also secured victory at Old Trafford’s showpiece event. He finished that season as the League’s top scorer with 29 tries, which included one in the Grand Final win over Hull F.C.
Gardner also contributed greatly between 2006-2009 when Saints won the Challenge Cup three times in a row. He finished an illustrious career for the Red V in 2014 before signing for Hull Kingston Rovers on loan. Nevertheless, his reputation as one of the best English wingers in recent years is unwavering, with his final statistics for the Saints standing at 281 tries in 167 games.
Joel Monaghan
Australian winger Joel Monaghan signed for Warrington in December 2010, where he joined his brother Michael. Joel then went onto win the Challenge Cup and make a Grand Final appearance.
Joel’s try ratio of one score every game for Warrington was second to none and his ability to find the try line from anywhere on the pitch was unparalleled by any other Wolves player.
In 2014, he was the top scorer for then-Tony Smith’s side with 26 tries and has provided many a memorable moment for the Wolves in his career, including securing a 22-20 derby day win with a last-second try over Widnes in 2015.
