Harvey Livett ~ Warrington Wolves

Sticking in Cheshire, Warringtonโ€™s own, Harvey Livett has been a breath of fresh air in 2018. The Second rower broke into the Wire team last year when the Wolves were still under Tony Smithโ€™s management. Although this year, Steve Price vowed to switch it up with Livett and change him from a centre, fifth-eighth, to a second rower, come loose forward and thatโ€™s exactly what the Australian head coach as done. It has changed Livettโ€™s career completely because the Wire number 20 is now a regular starter in the side and he scores quite a few tries as well.

In 11 games, he has scored 9 tries and kicked 13 goals, if thatโ€™s not impressive then I donโ€™t know what is!

Earlier in the season, just before the Magic Weekend Harvey was rewarded with a new contract for his efforts in the side, keeping him at Warrington until 2020. The former Rylands Sharks youngster, now flying the flag as a hometown hero alongside, Declan Patton and Joe Philbin.

Jake Truman ~ Castleford Tigers

Since his swift arrival in the Cas first team, Halfback Jake Trueman has been a revelation for Daryl Powell. Taking over from injured Luke Gale, the Tigers number 21 has had the season of his life. Scoring, four tries in 19 games, Trueman is now an essential part of the Castleford team. In the halves with Jamie Ellis and sometimes Paul McShane, young Jake has definitely surprised a few neutrals and maybe even some of the Mend-a-hose Jungle faithful too.

Mikolaj Oledzki ~ Leeds Rhinosย

At 19 years of age, Mikolaj Oledzki is now slowly breaking into the Leeds first team after many different loan spells with Featherstone Rovers. A really good asset to any team, Nikolaj is a big prop/second rower who doesn’t leave anything out on the field. A tough runner and a mean tackler is all you want from one of your big boys and that’s certainly what this man brings to the Rhinos. He along with some of the previous young talents weโ€™ve spoke about has been named in that Knights Elite squad, Oledzki with Jack Walker from Leeds, Ash Handley and Liam Sutcliffe.
