Warrington Wolves will look to make it six wins on the bounce when they welcome Hull KR to The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

SQUAD NEWS

Warrington Wolves

Ben Murdoch-Massila is still missing for Warrington Wolves following a knee injury he picked up during the Easter Monday clash against Castleford Tigers.

Toby King, who has penned a new deal that keeps him at the club until November 2019, is set for a spell on the sidelines.

Steve Price confirmed the centre will be in the hands of the medical team and there is no timescale for his return, with Mitch Brown coming in.ย  However, the Wolves boss shouldn’t be too alarmed, due to the depth of the Wolves roster.

Warrington Wolves 19-man squad: ย Sitaleki Akauola, Ryan Atkins, Kevin Brown, Mitch Brown, Josh Charnley, Daryl Clark, Mike Cooper, Dom Crosby, Ben Currie, Bryson Goodwin, Chris Hill, Jack Hughes, George King, Tom Lineham, Joe Philbin, Stefan Ratchford, Tyrone Roberts, Morgan Smith, Ben Westwood

Hull KR

Tim Sheens has made three changes to his Hull KR squad from last weekends victory over Widnes Vikings. Nick Scruton returns from injury to replace Chris Clarkson, while Andrew Heffernan makes way for Liam Salter.

Matty Marsh comes in for Will Dagger, who will miss out on facing his former club. New signing Junior Vaivai still hasn’t been selected, but he could be set to start his Red Robins career next weekend against Oldham.

Hull KR 19-man squad:ย Adam Quinlan, Thomas Minns, Ryan Shaw, Danny McGuire, Nick Scruton, Shaun Lunt, Mose Masoe, Maurice Blair, James Greenwood, Ben Kavanagh, James Donaldson, Tommy Lee, Matty Marsh, Robbie Mulhern, Liam Salter, Chris Atkin, Jordan Walne, Danny Tickle, Justin Carney

HEAD TO HEAD

The last meeting between the two sides was in the final Qualifiers game last year, when Warrington ran riot to defeat KR 46-24.

Coming into this game, the Wire are five games unbeaten, and could move into second if results go their way this weekend. Meanwhile KR will be looking to get their fourth win of the season, and start moving away from the bottom four.

Both teams will be looking to get another two points on the board before they start their respective Cup runs.

KEY BATTLE- Josh Charnley v Justin Carney

Since moving to the Wolves, Josh Charnley has scored three in three and also has two try assists to his name. His signing has been a big boost for the Primrose and Blue, and he will be looking to show why he was brought in.

In the away camp, Justin Carney has given the Rovers attack a new dimension. Although he has only scored three tries this season, the experience he has will be critical if they are to succeed this year. Carney scored twice in his last outing and will be looking to continue that form in this clash.

WHO WILL WIN?

I can’t see anything but a Wire win in this one, with their flare in attack and the way in which the club holds up in defence it should see them keep the two points at the Halliwell Jones stadium.
