MANLY FIND THEIR WIN

After a horrible month and a few mediocre performances, the Sea Eagles found theirย form from the opening rounds to beat a flat Brisbane team. In front of another great crowd at the Suncorp doubleheader Manly was devoted to turning their season around, dominating the opening 40 minutes they were fluent in both attack and defence not looking back to win convincingly.

BRONCOS UNENTHUSED

The fans of the Broncos watched their team fall at Suncorp playing unenthusiastically throughout the match. It was lack of impact through their middle forwards, changes that Wayne Bennett had made before the game with James Roberts and Jack Bird switching sides for centreย roles failed with him experimenting more mid-match also.

TRBOJEVIC’Sย  TERRIFIC

Jake and Tom Trbojevic were outstanding besides a few hiccups for the fullback earlier on, they both were able to combine as they had earlier this season through the middle helping Tom back into Blues contention. Jake performed incredibly against an intimidating Brisbane pack to score two tries through sheer determination while making 44 tackles giving nothing to the Broncos on their line.

TOUGH ROAD AHEAD

It is a tough month for both sides moving forward with the Broncos meeting the Roosters at home next week while playing Storm and Sharks also in the next few weeks. Manly even after a crucial win against Brisbane have a treacherousย road ahead playing away in Melbourne, Canberra and New Zealand in the next four rounds.
