1. Valentine wastes little time
After a season out of Rugby League chasing his dream of playing in the NFL, Valentine Holmes makes his NRL return at fullback for the Cowboys.
Holmes is a freak athlete and was undeniably one of the best players in the game. Still only 24 years old and having represented his state and country as well as winning a premiership, Valentine will be raring to go in his preferred position at fullback.
My money is on a strong start and another shot at Origin, however he has some stiff competition for the Maroons fullback jersey so it could be on the wing.
