Despite losing Greg Inglis and Sam Burgess to medical retirements last year, Souths have recruited very well in adding Latrell Mitchell to play fullback.

No doubt he will have a point to prove but a question mark still remains over how his fitness will hold up with the extra workload. Best case scenario and he makes the same impact that Inglis made when he moved to fullback.

Souths have a very strong roster with Latrell, Damien Cook, Adam Reynolds, Cody Walker, James Roberts, Ethan Lowe, Dane Gagai and Cameron Murray. If they get lucky with injuries (I’m talking about you, Adam Reynolds), then there is a very real possibility they can push for another premiership.
