Obviously they can’t do any worse than coming last in 2019, but as a young team with some solid players you felt last year that they were often in the game but just couldn’t keep it up for the full eighty minutes.

While there were some clear factors like Ash Taylor taking some time away from the game, there was also some moments where fans were left questioning the coaching decisions made by Garth Brennan, and ultimately the Titans board were having the same doubts because he was sacked and replaced by the promising Justin Holbrook.

I’m not going to say they’ll make the top eight because I don’t think they will but I believe they can at least push to get out of the bottom four.

The Ryan James injury is a big blow to their campaign but from what we saw from them in the Nines the effort and chemistry seemed a lot better.
