Warrington Wolves continued their great form with a 38-4 home victory over the Huddersfield Giants to mount more pressure on Chris Thorman and his side.
The game was closely fought in the early stages, the first points of the game coming through in-form winger Josh Charnley in the 22nd minute, following on from last week’s four tries against Bradford.
Huddersfield struck back four minutes later through Darnell McIntosh, who capitalized on Jake Mamo’s push-back from a Jordan Rankin kick. The subsequent conversion was missed leaving the score at 6-4 in favour of Warrington.
What was to follow was utter Wolves domination, as they crossed for another two tries before half time, first through Stefan Ratchford and then Tom Lineham crossed just before the interval to give the Wolves a 14-4 lead.
The Wolves went on to score another five tries in the second half, with the first two courtesy of Charnley. The winger’s hat-trick made it 10 tries since his return to rugby league in only six appearances.

Any glimmer of hope was quickly evaporated when Ratchford scored his second of the evening, before Joe Philbin and Harvey Livett crossed to rub salt into the wounds and extend Warrington’s streak to seven Super League victories in a row.
WHAT WE’VE LEARNED
Warrington dangerous on all sides
In the inital stages of the season, Warrington were mainly scoring their tries on the left with many going to Tom Lineham.
However since Charnley has joined, they have been dangerous down both sides and is part of the reason why they are difficult to beat.
With Stefan Ratchford adding his immense talent and guile to the mix, the Wolves look like they could be in contention towards the end of the season.
Poor goal-kicking could prove costly in the future
It wasn’t major due to their dominant performance, but Warrington only converted three of eight attempts. In close contests against tough sides this could prove costly, unless they are able to rectify and Steve Price did use three different kickers.
Man Of The Match- Josh Charnley (Warrington Wolves)
Josh Charnley’s superb form continued with three tries, adding to his seven in the previous five starts in Primrose and Blue.
Charnley has been one of the best new signings this season and if he continues this form surely he should be in contention for a place in the England squad.
