TEAM FORM GUIDE
Castleford Tigers
Castleford come in to the match having a week off playing duties owing to the Snowy Weather conditions. They have however won two of their three Super League games so far, both wins coming at The Jungle. Castleford look a real force at home, however only narrowly beat Widnes 13-12, and showing some more encouraging signs as they beat Hull 28-18.
Salford Red Devils
Salford have only registered one win from four this season, losing to Wigan, Wakefield and St Helens. However, they did put on a worthy performance against Hull KR only a few weeks ago as they registered a 36-12 victory over Rovers.

PREVIEW
This should be an interesting match-up, as Castleford aim for another home win. The Tigers will be eager to create a โfortressโ environment of The Jungle, where teams will be conscious about coming to the stadium given their form. Castleford have shown early signs that they could be contenders for Silverware this year, after missing out on both the Challenge Cup and Grand Final in 2017. A strong performance against the Red Devils would see them in good stead early in the Season.
Salford come into the game off the back of a loss and will be hoping to make up for their errors and get some more wins under their belt. The presence of Hauraki will be a positive one has he comes back into the team, the Red Devils are showing plenty of fight this year but Castleford will be a team they donโt want to face. With the right attitude, Salford can make it hard work for the Tigers and maybe come up with something special to get some points out of the game.
