Super Saints
St Helens won an incredible 26 of their 29 league fixtures, finishing 16 points ahead of second place Wigan in the table. They blitzed the Warriors again in the play-offs before seeing off underdogs Salford in the Grand Final to secure their first Super League title since 2014. Scoring 916 points during the regular season, Saints were a joy to watch in 2019 with four of their players notching 17+ tries and three providing 20+ assists, with outgoing coach Justin Holbrook leaving the club back at the summit of English rugby league.
