Man of Steel Award
The Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel Award underwent significant changes this year and added extra intrigue to the coveted award. A 21-man panel of former players selected the best three players from each game with six points split between the three players. The leader board was made public until week 22, before then being hidden until the awards ceremony in October, to add further mystery as to the identity of the eventual winner of the award with Salford’s Jackson Hastings a more than worthy winner.
