Best Buy of 2019 – Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad

A breakout season for Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad with a move to Canberra allowing him to become a regular NRL player. With just seven games under his belt in two seasons at the New Zealand Warriors, CNK played all twenty-six matches for the Raiders in 2019.

His success can be measured against the game’s best in James Tedesco. Nicoll-Klokstad was 9th overall in the average run metres per game with 163, just 24 metres short of Tedesco’s season average.

If he can continue with his meteoric rise in 2020, he will be considered in the top three fullbacks in our game, if he isn’t already.
