6. Matt Scott
North Queensland premiership winning captain Matt Scott retires after 268 club games with his most notable achievement, co-skippering the 2015 Grand Final win over Brisbane. That year he won the Dally M Captain of the Year. Scott was a twenty-two game veteran for Australia between 2010 and 2016, part of the winning 2013 World Cup side. He was part of the Queensland dynasty appearing for his state twenty-two times. A health scare on the way back from Newcastle late this season ended his career a few weeks prematurely.
