4. Paul Gallen
Paul Gallen ended a career that spanned nineteen seasons for the Cronulla Sharks where he ran out 348 times, captaining his side to a maiden premiership in 2016. He captained at State level for New South Wales during twenty-four appearances and represented Australia thirty-two times. In 2010 he took out Rugby League Week’s Player of the Year. His amazing stamina to play through pain was a trademark at the peak of his career. The fallout from the ASADA scandal was one of the low points during his career. Gallen will go down as a Sharks legend.
