Greg Inglis’ retirement announcement earlier this season ended a stellar career in which he was considered one of the best centres in the game. He made 39 appearances for Australia including being part of the 2013 World Cup winning side. Inglis appeared for Queensland on thirty-two occasions, crossing for eighteen tries, taking over the captaincy for his last two appearances. At club level, he was part of two Premierships with the Melbourne Storm and the 2014 Grand Final win with South Sydney. Inglis finished with a phenomenal 149 tries from 263 appearances. While he didn’t take out to converted Dally M Player of the Year, he won the Golden Boot in 2009 an the Provan Summons Medal in 2013 among his accolades.
