1. David Fifita – Gold Coast Titans
Not since Sonny Bill Williams has a young forward been as sought after, highly touted and unbelievably dominant in the NRL. He has encountered his fair share of controversy, from trouble with the law in Bali to a drawn out contract saga that saw him depart the Broncos for one of the biggest contracts in the NRL.
The Titans are going to be a premiership force in the near future, and a player like Fifita is one you can build a team around. Not only is he a dominant ball-playing forward with the whole package, he will lift his teammates and evolve into a role model and leader.
There’s no doubt that if the Titans are to be successful, it will be on the back of Fifita and his fellow star forwards leading the charge.
