South Sydney Rabbitohs

28 Points – Points For: 431 – Points Against: 307 – Diff. +124

The run home: Parramatta Eels (H), Melbourne Storm (H), Sydney Roosters (H), Brisbane Broncos (A), Canberra Raiders (A), Wests Tigers (H)

The Rabbitohs have a tough few weeks coming up, facing the Storm, Roosters and the Broncos in consecutive weeks.  These three games alone will determine whether they finish within the top 4 or outside. With two of those games at home, they have the advantage. Coming off a recent 9-game winning streak, the Rabbitohs have the team and have shown they are a serious threat this year. They should finish top 4.

Sydney Roosters

26 Points – Points For: 398 – Points Against: 263 – Diff. +135

The run home: St George Dragons (H), Nth Queensland Cowboys (H), South Sydney Rabbitohs (A), Canberra Raiders (A), Brisbane Broncos (H), Parramatta Eels (A)

The Roosters are timing their run home, hitting some very good recent form. A huge win over Manly last week showed their attacking potential, and boasting Cronk at halfback, he is a specialist in-game management this time of year. Still to play 3 teams outside of the top 8, they play the Dragons and Broncos at home. The Roosters should finish top 4, and potentially top two on points differential.

Predicted Finish: 3rd
