Preview
These two met in the 2016 Challenge Cup final, with Hull claiming a narrow 16-14 success, having lost to Wigan at Wembley in the 2013 final. A cracking game at the AJ Bell Stadium awaits.
Andy Last had made five changes to the squad that beat Castleford, with Jamie Shaul, Albert Kelly, Ratu Naulago, Adam Swift and Kieran Buchanan all missing through injury. Marc Sneyd makes an early return from injury, with Masi Matongo and Connor Wynne also included.
Adrian Lam has made two changes to the squad that travelled to Catalans with youngsters Harry Rushton and Amir Bourouh replacing the injured Joe Bullock and George Burgess.
Prediction
The two sides have played out some classic encounters in recent years and we could be in for more of the same on Saturday evening. Wigan responded to their shock defeat against Hull KR with an impressive win at Catalans, while Hull FC dispatched Castleford in this competition last time out. Adrian Lam’s side should reach the last four, but Hull won’t go down without a fight.
