Brisbane (3-7) = Not even having the lion’s share of their games on Channel Nine can save the Broncos. After winning their opening two games, the Broncos lost six in a row after the competition’s resumption, including an embarrassing 59-0 loss to the Roosters, and losing to the Titans again. Both of these were at Lang Park, which used to be an intimidating place for visiting sides. Their one win – against Canterbury-Bankstown – was quickly cancelled out by a 48-0 loss to the Tigers. Barring a massive form reversal, Brisbane will miss the finals for the first time since 2013.
